WHAT ARE ATHAS!.. PENS MADE OF?

athas!.. Steel: made of SAE 340 stainless steel. Developed early in the 20th century it is considered a noble metal today. Extremely resistant SAE 340 stainless steel is resistant to atmospheric oxidation and corrosion.
athas!.. Argentum: brass manufactured pieces plated with 1000 silver metal.
athas!.. Gold: brass manufactured pieces plated with 18 karat gold in tones of yellow, rose, green or white.

HOW ARE ATHAS!.. PENS MADE?

athas!.. pens are carefully manufactured with great attention to detail. The production of a single unit may take up to 45 days under a stringent quality control. Piece by piece the process – from design to packing – involves not only craftsmen but advanced industrial techniques as well.

athas!.. Steel: processed by high fusion under pressure technique each component made of SAE 340 stainless steel is polished, precisely adjusted and manually assembled.

athas!.. Argentum e athas!.. Gold: all athas!.. brass pieces are galvanized and plated with either 1000 silver metal or 18 karat gold using an electrolytic process.

CLEANING, CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF ATHAS!.. PENS

Stainless steel: use only soap or mild detergent and water. Ammonia based solvents diluted in warm water may be considered using a soft rag or nylon sponge. Rinse well with clean water (preferably warm) and wipe dry with a soft rag.

Argentum: silver is a metal sensitive to pollution. It tarnishes when exposed to humidity, heat, chemicals, cosmetics, perfumes. Should your silver-plated pen lose its brightness or color soft wool or cotton fabric may be used to restore them. Polishing products found in the market are an option.

Gold: gold is dense, soft, shiny and the most malleable pure metal. Scratches and stains may accidentally mark you gold-plated pen. To clean and maintain your pen, start with one type of degreaser and apply it to the surface. Then follow the specific manufactures directions for grease removal. Always use a clean soft wool or cotton fabric.

REFILLS

Athas!.. Refills are especially prepared for this products, in regular and mini sizes. They can be replaced by similar refills found in the market. If our clients wishes, we can send new refills to replace it, especially to the minis sizes. Please, contact us.
